Meet the Admissions Staff: Sarah Morse
Sarah Morse has spent more than 25 years in education. After starting a career in the corporate arena as a marketing representative with IBM, Sarah transitioned into educational administration. Prior to coming to St. John’s, she served for 15 years as an admissions and financial aid director at two independent schools in the mid-Atlantic region, and was eastern regional director and national director of special projects for AFS Intercultural Programs. She also taught French and was dean of students at a boarding school.
In recent years, Sarah volunteered for a six-year term on the Commission on Ministry for the Episcopal Diocese of Maryland, served as regional alumnae admissions coordinator for Smith College, her alma mater, and counseled AFS exchange students. Originally from St. Louis, Sarah has lived on both coasts and has traveled extensively overseas.
“I was thrilled when an opportunity opened up to work for the college,” Sarah says. “As a former resident of Annapolis and a friend of many Johnnies, I know the value of what happens here around the seminar table. Our students are discussing the great works that have shaped our world, and are wrestling with issues of vital importance to all of our lives.”
