Summer Academy 2013
Recreation

“Some of the best memories I had were outside of the classroom. Taking a canoe on College Creek, going on field trips to Baltimore and Washington, participating in a jam session, and battling each other with foam swords, just to name a few of the activities one can do here at St. John’s. These activities helped me socialize and create friends with people I would never have known existed. We still stay in touch to this day and will probably as long as we can. “

Recreation

If you love to read and share your thoughts with others, it might be hard to decide which is more fun—your time spent inside the classroom or that spent outside of it. The collaborative intellectual engagement fostered at the Summer Academy spills over into all activities. You will have the opportunity to express yourself in small groups, and to converse and relax alongside other college bound students. Here is a sample of activities that are offered each week:

Annapolis: Croquet, Swing Dance, Swimming
Santa Fe: Hiking, Bocce, Swing Dance
